Homeowners who participate in our housing ministry program complete education classes on homeownership, learn about construction and basic home maintenance, work “sweat equity” hours and achieve a sense of accomplishment and pride in their work. Once the house is completed, the homeowner pays a 25 year interest free monthly mortgage. The payments help Huntington WV Area Habitat for Humanity build more houses for families in need in Cabell County.
